Contentment. That is a word that one mus

Contentment. That is a word that one must be sure to use. When one discusses being content where you are, that is just fine, because there are times where we must remain where we have been placed. Sometimes we have to learn more about ourselves in the process and sometimes it just is not our season to move into the next direction. However, many of us ignore the signs that are given to us.
Fear tends to take hold of what we need to accomplish. I believe that all of us have been placed into that situation and we just do not budge from that position, area ore place of residence. We are just there and are really “taking up” space.

We must understand that nothing in this world is perfect; however, we can strengthen ourselves by believing what He says we can do.

Ask yourself this question: Is it time to position yourself to grow personally and professionally? I would like to give a Special Invitation to Jeweled Ministries Blog Readers! Dear Blog Reader…

Aside

Dear Jeweled Ministries Blog Reader,

Yes, this post is different… That’s one great thing about blog posts, you have the control of the topic and the audience that you would like to address. This blog entries topic is of thanks and the audience is YOU! There is a need to express a sincere thank you to the readers of Jeweled Ministries. It has been a true blessing to have you follow the inspirational messages that I provide to you each week.

This thank you blog post will be a little down to earth and “real” so to speak. Instead of you giving so much to me through your dedication of reading the posts, I would be great for you to have a little more of where this ministry has gone and how it has expanded, because of your gracious support.

  4. The monthly newsletter provides great nuggets of who I am, where I have been and who I have seen in my travels. Also, there is an article each month that gives focus on how to shine with your talents with grace. Also, additional news is provided on webinars, luncheons, workshops and more. (FREE)

Yes, I have placed the word FREE next to each, because these are valuable resources that if anyone deserves them it’s you. You have been through each and every message and have taken the messages and have (I know you have) applied them to your own life.

Jeweled Thought: Giving thanks to God for the little things is super important. Giving thanks to generous supporters is more than necessary. Giving thanks in all that you do is a must, because our Father wants His vessel to feel the love that He has for us by serving others.

Jeweled Assignment: Take the time to give thanks to someone who has been gracious to you by being supportive in all that you do. It is important, necessary and a must. They are pleasing God by serving others, so why not give something back as well. Use this week to make someone smile so that each of you can Shine Brilliantly(tm)!

Building Your Gift Where You Are

6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12: 6-8

Romans 12: 6-8 really expresses so much to finding your calling where you are right now…“give encouragement, give generously, do it diligently, do it cheerfully.”  Regardless of what your gift is, each can be used to give you guidance as you are finding your building your gift.

Try these two small steps to build your gift…

  1. While you are in you NOW, give encouragement to your fellow friend, co-worker or acquaintance. Especially if you see them doing something that is truly genuine.  It’s like giving a compliment, but you are their cheerleader in their project.  Sometimes when someone is completing a project or just getting through their normal daily activities, they just need to be recognized for a job that is truly well done.  Once again, don’t say something or give encouragement to someone if you are not genuine.
  2. Give something small to give someone a little cheer.  Don’t go to your local department store and by a crock pot or the finest jewelry.  I’m talking about a convenient store.  Yes…get them a granola bar, juice or something really small that you know that they like and may consider comforting during a break. Doing something this small and doing it cheerfully can work wonders for almost anyone.

Why do something in the mist of building your gift?  You realize a lot about yourself.  Are you truly building a relationship with those who you are around daily or monthly in your business?  It’s not about being heard all the time, it about caring and letting them know that they matter in your life.  You want to make sure there is trust and commitment to the relationship. You are recognizing that they matter and you learn something about yourself in the process…your gift of compassion and love for what you really do…you CARE!
