You could have all of your family members around you at the same time as your friends, but yet you could still feel as though you were standing alone. Consider where you are with your journey…be it getting a degree, going before a crowd for a speech, or trying to prepare for a run/walk.
There is something truly amazing when you set a goal to do something. YOU know what YOU want to accomplish and you know what pace or path you want to take to get to the “finish” line. You may want support along the way, you get it at times, but just when you need that extra push, you just feel”they” just diner understand. It’s just like a tree standing alone.
One thing that stood out in the picture below is that that tree may be by itself, but it is full of life and is growing from every way possible. It’s almost a little out of control. Take this tree to be you strength in getting to your said goal.
1. Take a long look at who you are. I really mean stand in the mirror and REALLY look at yourself.
2. Think of what you have really accomplished in the past week. Identify all the good stuff. Trust me it is there!
3. Take one item that you identified and see how you can expand with that goal or take to help you grow further. ( Just like the tree).
Once you do this mini exercise, you will see that you have so much more to give to yourself and to others. The grow period may get a little out of control at times, but you can…excuse the pun…trim it a little.
Much success in you goal…you can do anything!
