Keeping the faith the other six days is the true challenge. When in church we have the word in front if us. The preacher speaks what he’s been given through his gift. The preacher provides concrete material that we can take away and often relate to. However, the other six days you have to place one four in front of the other and use the tools learned to get you through the week.
The obstacles that we are presented with whether it be a new job, a new schedule within the family or with a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia each day presents itself with something that reminds us that we are not alone.
During the other six days, you may go to bible study, yoga classes, incorporate mediation or prayer to get then through. Whatever you do use it like you have never before, because it will keep you in that faithful pocket where strength can be found.
Keep the faith!
