HOWEVER…Eating, dieting and cleansing are often the extremes that we choose to make for a difference or a make-up for our supersizing meals. We entertain crazes or fads usually for reasons that are behind the necessity for people to trying to avoid the dangers of the “microwave” eating styles. Thus, many resort to vegetarianism.
Vegetarianism includes six types of eating styles:
Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and do not eat eggs, dairy products, or processed foods animal-derived ingredients.
Vegetarian (Lacto-ovo- vegetarian)
- Lato-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but eats dairy products.
- Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs.
Raw vegan/Raw food diet
A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
The macrobiotic diet, includes unprocessed vegan foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and consumption of fish occasionally. Sugar and refined oils are avoided. Asian vegetables and sea vegetables are consumed.
Those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish.
Those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat.
